Ruth is an Artist + Designer, Fashion Model and Content Creator. She also works in the Beauty Industry, doing a bit of Hair Styling and Makeup.

She learned crochet and embroidery from a young age by assisting her mother who had a business making clothing and accessories. This label is inspired by her creative upbringing and created to merge the world of art and fashion to provide wearable art where she creates handmade items such as jewellery, clothing and accessories; while incorporating her artworks which is heavily influenced by her African cultural background and Spiritual existence. Her work aims to challenge stereotypes and spark conversations within society while shedding some positive light on the collective lived experiences.

Often Enough, People may not buy art to beautify their homes, but they definitely love to wear art as a means of self expression. Our products are handmade from new fabrics and materials aswell as upcyling thrifted/secondhand items. Recycling and re-using items comes naturally to us as this is often practiced within our culture.
